OUR COMPANY
Kitsap Networking Services, Inc. was started because of a growing need in Kitsap County. Many small businesses had no option for professional IT services. When computer problems came up, they had to rely on out-of-town IT companies who were unable to be onsite in a reasonable time. Since 2004, Kitsap Networking Services, Inc. has been pleased to actively fill the need for local IT support.
After serving the Kitsap Peninsula for eight years, we noticed a similar need was apparent in Sequim. Our KNS techs began remotely providing IT services to small businesses in Sequim; in 2018 we decided to officially open a branch office right in the heart of downtown Sequim, called Sequim I.T.
Our goal is to provide reliable, local, and varied IT services to businesses in the area. Our relationships with our clients and with local businesses are very important to us. We take advantage of new computer technologies, software, and ideas to better your IT and computer infrastructure.
OUR MISSION
Our passion is to provide the highest quality technology-based services while being friendly, dependable, and detailed. We pride ourselves on remaining local and serving the community in which we live. Using cutting-edge technology, we provide the highest degree of management and support with our IT service solutions.
MEET OUR TEAM
ANDREW BETZING
Our Founder / Owner
Andrew Betzing is the founder and owner of Kitsap Networking Services, Inc. (KNS) and Sequim I.T. Andrew loves Kitsap County and the surrounding areas - he spent his childhood and early education in Silverdale, and graduated from Central Kitsap High School in the 90’s.
Andrew has had various professional opportunities – he spent his early career in real estate, and eventually moved to Montana where he began his IT career. He started by taking Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE) classes at a local technical training center. After graduation, he worked as an IT Coordinator for a resort in Bozeman, MT. As the only IT person in town, he was often called upon after hours by local businesses and residents to help with their systems.
During his time in Montana, Andrew had a diverse range of opportunities to provide IT support and consulting to small, local businesses. Through these experiences, Andrew learned to quickly diversify and master various aspects of small business networking - including IT consulting, strong customer service, and the importance of building personal customer relationships.
In 2002, Andrew, his wife Kim, and their two sons moved back to the Kitsap area. Andrew noticed a need for professional IT services within the area’s small business network. He quickly built up a client base, and formally founded Kitsap Networking Services, Inc. Andrew’s passion for IT and helping the community allowed KNS to continue to grow and prosper. He made a constant effort to seek out great employees, supply positive customer service and friendly, approachable I.T.
Many of KNS’ clients had branch offices located in Sequim. For over six years, KNS remotely managed these branch offices for our existing Kitsap County clients. In 2018, Andrew made the decision to expand the business by officially opening a branch office in Sequim called Sequim I.T. Andrew’s goal through this expansion was to provide better service and a greater investment into the community of Sequim. He loves the small-town feel of both the Kitsap and Sequim areas, and looks forward to forging new relationships with local business owners.
When he is not at work, Andrew enjoys being involved in the community and collector car market, and doing anything outdoors - skiing, backpacking, hunting, and fishing. Whether you need a network assessment or a recommendation for a spectacular hike, Andrew is the one to call.
